I've had Brother Ali on my radar for a few years now, your boy can really rap! He's not rhyming about cars, hoes, and bling, he speaks the truth. He's a "real" dude and that's whats conveyed in his lyrical content.Moving around a lot as a kid, Ali set up camp in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Living as an Albino, Brother Ali faced adversity within the hiphop community and life in general. Questions about his race were a common occurrence, however; Brother Ali has taken it all in stride
and is now one of the premier underground MC's in the game. His rare genetic condition added to his unique look, which in my opinion gives him an edge and helps to stand out in a over-crowded independent hiphop scene.Ali is currently signed to Rhymesayers Entertainment which is distributed through Warner Music Group. Check out his fourth and latest full-length album "US" which dropped Sept. 22nd 09' and debuted at #56 on the Billboard 200 Chart.
